Home

Welcome to Temenos Oikidios, a Greek Polytheistic sacred space in West Warwick, RI. Rooted in Hellenic tradition, we honor the gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece, the ancestral spirits of our families, and the benevolent spirit who guards the home.

Our mission is to cultivate living worship through ritual, education, and community — weaving together the ancient and the modern, the personal and the collective. We emphasize Ancient Greek Religion through the lens of household worship and practice, a place of belonging and reverence, where the flame of Hestia’s hearth burns in harmony with the light of our community.

Our Purpose

Temenos Oikidios exists to

  • Preserve and practice Hellenic ritual life within a modern context.
  • Foster an ethical, inclusive, and transparent spiritual community.
  • Uphold the values of reciprocity, hospitality, and sacred care.
  • Serve as a living expression of devotion to the gods and the household spirits.

Through our bylaws and founding articles, we affirm our commitment to stewardship, accessibility, and the flourishing of all who seek the divine within and beyond the home.

Upcoming Events

Our rituals are all held live and virtually at a private residence in West Warwick, RI unless otherwise stated on our calendar. Please visit our events page to learn more about our rituals and to register to attend.

A Living Sanctuary

At Temenos Oikidios, the hearth is not only a flame — it is a promise.

We strive to create a physical sacred space while also helping others connect to our hearth virtually, as our membership spans the United States. All are welcome to worship with us who respect and honor the Gods and Goddesses.

Each offering, each prayer, each act of kindness rekindles the bond between household and cosmos.

Temenos Oikidios invites you to step across the threshold, to dwell in the sacred rhythm of life, and to join a community devoted to the gods, the ancestors, and the spirit of the little house.

Our Partnership

Temenos Oikidios is a congregational member of the Church of the Sacred Earth (CoSE). Through this partnership, we uphold shared values of reverence for nature, ethical stewardship, and spiritual autonomy. COSE provides the legal and organizational framework that allows Temenos Oikidios to flourish. To learn more about the Church of the Sacred Earth, click here.
